We accept applications on an ongoing basis; qualified applicants will be considered as vacancies become available This position is within the Directorate of Behavioral Health, Mental Health Dept. located in Camp Pendleton, California. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation. Major Duties: - Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients who exhibit evidence the full range of disorders described in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, Fifth Edition. - Conduct psychological assessment of patients with a wide variety of known or suspected psychological disorders that affect intellectual, cognitive, behavioral or emotional functioning. - Provide individual and group short-term therapy sessions, including psychoeducational sessions. - Consult and provide opinions to other health professionals on various topics related to the psychology of the patient. - Perform psychotherapeutic intervention or environmental modification based on scientific, evidence-based practice. - Oversee, administer, and interpret appropriate psychological tests.
