Job Description: This job is responsible for developing and delivering complex requirements to accomplish business goals. Key responsibilities of the job include ensuring that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional and compliance requirements, and solutions are well designed with maintainability/ease of integration and testing built-in from the outset. Job expectations include a strong knowledge of development and testing practices common to the industry and design and architectural patterns. Position Summary: Experienced SQL Developer and Database Engineer with expertise in SQL Server and Oracle database technologies, database architecture, ETL development, application integration, performance tuning, and DevOps practices. Proven ability to design scalable solutions, optimize complex workloads, implement secure and reliable data processes, and support enterprise-scale applications through the full software development lifecycle Responsibilities: Codes solutions and unit test to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements Designs, develops, and modifies architecture components, application interfaces, and solution enablers while ensuring principal architecture integrity is maintained Mentors other software engineers and coach team on Continuous Integration and Continuous Development (CI-CD) practices and automating tool stack Executes story refinement, definition of requirements, and estimating work necessary to realize a story through the delivery lifecycle Performs spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas Automates manual release activities Designs, develops, and maintains automated test suites (integration, regression, performance) Identifying, analyzing, and documenting problems with program function, output, online screen, or content; Documenting software defects, using a bug tracking system, and reporting defects to software developers; Participating in product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, or potential problems; Monitoring program performance to ensure efficient and problem-free operations; Investigating customer problems referred by technical support; Identifying program deviance from standards, and suggest modifications to ensure compliance; Modifying existing software to correct errors, allowing it to adapt to new hardware, or to improve its performance; Collaborating with enterprise architects and IT project managers to enhance existing business applications and facilitate solutions to meet business requirements; Analyzing architecture blueprints and design plus build modular based web applications and UIs; Required Qualifications: SQL Development (Core Skill) Database Design Architecture Data Integration ETL Data pipelines Data transformation logic Data quality validation Tools such as Informatica, SSIS, Talend, Azure Data Factory, Databricks Desired Qualifications: Application Development Fundamentals Source Control Development Practices Database Platform Skills Performance Troubleshooting Skills: Application Development Automation Influence Solution Design Technical Strategy Development Architecture Business Acumen DevOps Practices Result Orientation Solution Delivery Process MS SQL Server Shift: 1st shift (United States of America) Hours Per Week: 40
