About the Role We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Traffic Engineer – Site Supervisor to join our highway road construction project in Timor-Leste. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating traffic engineering and traffic management activities during construction. The role will ensure that traffic control measures, temporary traffic arrangements, road safety systems, and related works are implemented safely, efficiently, and in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, traffic management plans, and applicable standards. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with specialization in traffic engineering or equivalent. Have a minimum of 15 (fifteen) years of cumulative experience in Civil Engineering with expertise in Highway road construction supervision and thereof a minimum of 10 (ten) years related to the traffic management for Highway roads or large road projects. Have served in a similar capacity on at least 2 (two) Highway Road projects of similar nature. Preferably a full-time employee of the PMC since at least 2 years. Fluency in written and spoken form of English is mandatory. Responsible for managing traffic flow and safety during construction, ensuring minimal disruption to existing traffic, in conformance with the DB Contract, the technical specifications and the approved detailed design.
