Why Join As a key member of the Global Markets team at OCBC, you'll play a critical role in managing the bank's assets and liabilities. You'll work closely with traders, sales teams, and other stakeholders to ensure the bank's funding and liquidity needs are met. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong analytical skills and attention to detail. How you succeed To succeed in this role, you'll need to stay on top of market trends and developments, and be able to analyze complex data to inform your decisions. You'll work closely with the trading desk to optimize funding and liquidity, and ensure that the bank's risk management framework is adhered to. Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential in this role. What you do \- Build and manage HQLA bond portfolios for both ALCO and Global Markets ALM to capture capital and accrual returns \- Recommend and implement interest rate strategies for key currencies markets \- Enhance capital gains from tactical positioning in the Fixed Income and rates markets \- Analyse business performance to identify key trends, issues and opportunities, providing data-driven insights and recommendations \- Produce timely and accurate business analytics on balance sheet, liquidity, cashflows, profitability and risk metrics \- Support management initiatives and strategic priorities though timely business analysis on emerging issues and market developments Who you are \- Experience in ALM risk taking and portfolio management \- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into meaningful business insights \- Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy, efficiency and continuous process improvement \- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g. Excel, Python, Tableau) What we offer: ================== Competitive base salary.
