Crisis Recovery Worker - Central Lancashire Haven ------------------------------------------------- Location: Central Lancashire Haven, Blanche Street, Preston, PR2 2RL Working Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday–Friday Salary: £25,877.80 – £30,868.31 per annum Please note: The salary listed reflects the full earning potential for this role. About the Role We’re looking for a compassionate and motivated Crisis Recovery Worker to join our team, supporting people to achieve their personal goals, build independence and improve their overall wellbeing. You’ll work directly with people using our service, providing practical and emotional support tailored to their individual needs. This could include helping someone manage their physical and mental wellbeing, develop independent living skills, engage with their community and access other services and support. You’ll also work with your own caseload of key clients, developing meaningful, person-centred plans and positive risk assessments while encouraging people to have choice, control and an active role in decisions about their support. Working as part of a supportive team, you’ll contribute to the safe and effective running of the service while building positive relationships with external agencies and professionals. What You’ll Do Provide practical and emotional support to help people improve their physical and mental wellbeing. Manage a caseload of key clients and develop meaningful, achievable and person-centred support plans. Support people to develop independent living skills, including budgeting, community engagement and accessing services. Complete and implement positive risk assessments in line with policies and procedures. Encourage choice, independence and active participation in decisions about support. Liaise with external agencies, including community mental health teams, multidisciplinary teams and carers. Maintain accurate, timely and confidential records and contribute positively to team working and service delivery. To Succeed in This Role, You’ll Need: Excellent communication, interpersonal and listening skills. The ability to respond compassionately to sensitive and complex situations. The ability to motivate, support and advocate for people using our services. Confidence working independently as well as collaboratively within a team. Good organisational and IT skills, including the ability to maintain accurate records. The ability to plan and prioritise your workload and work effectively under pressure.
