Format Preferences

Italian CVs end with a mandatory GDPR authorisation clause: "Autorizzo il trattamento dei miei dati personali ai sensi del Decreto Legislativo 30 giugno 2003, n. 196 e del Reg. UE 679/2016 (GDPR)." — without it, Italian recruiters legally cannot store your data. Photo, date of birth, and place of birth are standard. The Europass CV format is widely accepted, especially for EU jobs and public sector. List language proficiency on the CEFR scale. Driving licence (patente) type matters for any field role. Italian hiring is relationship-driven; mention any referrals or networking contacts in the cover letter rather than the CV.
