Swedish CVs are deliberately concise and modest — no photo, no date of birth, no marital status. Never include your personnummer (Swedish personal ID number) on a CV; it is sensitive data and Swedish employers do not expect it. Use the ISO date format (YYYY-MM-DD). Reverse-chronological. Skip self-promotional adjectives; Swedish hiring culture (jantelagen) penalises bragging. Quantify achievements with concrete metrics instead. English is widely accepted across all sectors, and a single CV in English is fine for most Stockholm tech and multinational roles. List Swedish proficiency honestly on the CEFR scale — non-native fluency is valued, not faked native claims.
