Should my MBA resume be different from my work resume?
Yes. Adcoms read for leadership, impact, and progression — not technical skills. Strip the skills section, add an extracurricular leadership section, and rewrite bullets to emphasise scope, ownership, and quantified business impact.
Should I include my GMAT or GRE score on the resume?
Some schools (HBS, GSB) discourage it on the resume itself since they collect it separately. Others (some European programmes) tolerate it. When in doubt, leave it off and let the application form carry the score.
How do I show progression if I've been at one company?
Break out promotions explicitly: list each title under the same company with its own date range and bullets. Adcoms care about scope expansion (team size, budget, geography) more than company changes.
What if my extracurriculars are thin?
