Job Description Project Information At Lumsden Point in Port Hedland, ACCIONA is designing and building two land-backed wharves for Pilbara Ports. The project will support the export of critical minerals and the import of renewable energy equipment, strengthening the Pilbara's role as a national trade and logistics hub. It is one of Australia's priority infrastructure developments, identified by Infrastructure Australia. About the Opportunity As Senior HSE Advisor, you will report to the Construction Manager and take ownership of health and safety across a landmark port construction site. You will develop and embed the Construction Safety Management Plan, lead risk identification and incident management, and shape a strong safety culture among project teams and contractors. This is a role with genuine autonomy: you will influence how safety is delivered on one of Western Australia's most significant current infrastructure builds, working closely with site leadership. Key accountabilities for the position will be: Develop and embed the site Construction Safety Management Plan Lead WHS auditing, risk reviews and hazard control strategies Investigate incidents and monitor metrics including TRIFR and LTIFR Build strong safety relationships with contractors and site teams Drive continuous improvement in safety culture and wellbeing Advise site leadership on WHS strategy and regulatory compliance Support the Construction Manager on safety planning and risk resolution Required Skills and Competencies Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety (minimum) Current advanced First Aid certificate Proven civil construction HSE experience, including Northwest WA Skilled in incident investigation, risk assessment and audits Strong communication skills and sound problem-solving ability At ACCIONA, we offer a dynamic and challenging work environment where our employees can grow and develop their careers.
