Role overview: This is a part-time nursery support teacher and childcare assistant job in Tokyo with Laurus International School of Science. What this role does Support the homeroom teacher with daily classroom routines and activities. Care for children’s safety, hygiene, comfort, and emotional well-being throughout the day. Help during snack time, lunch, play, rest periods, bathroom routines, and class transitions. Prepare materials and keep the classroom clean, safe, and ready for learning. Build warm, professional relationships with children, parents, teachers, and school staff. Support social and emotional development through play, conversation, and daily care. Who this job is for This position suits someone patient, reliable, and comfortable working closely with young children.
